Description

The Work of this Contract generally consists of furnishing and installing approximately 400 linear feet (LF) of 8-inch HDPE water main and approximately 200 LF of 8-inch ductile iron water main along Roy Avenue in the City of Attleboro Massachusetts. The replacement includes service connections, valves, fittings, hydrants, and associated appurtenances. The 8-inch HDPE water main at the Sevenmile River Crossing shall be installed utilizing directional drilling methods. Where removed, the existing cast iron water main must be properly disposed of off-site. All locations shall be restored to equal or better condition including pavement, sidewalk and curbing restoration, and loam and seed.
