Description | Road Widening Improvements CPN 103270 Addressed to: CITY OF FORT WORTH PURCHASING DIVISION 200 TEXAS ST FORT WORTH, TX 76102 This is a one-step CMAR solicitation process. The proposal shall contain all information as called for in the Request for Proposal. Based on the information contained in the proposals and potential interviews, the City will evaluate and select a proposer that provides the best value to the City. The project consists of the reconstruction and widening of 1.01 miles of Ray White Road from Mirage Drive to the bridge over Bear Creek. The proposed roadway will be a 4-lane divided roadway with a center median turn lane. The project includes construction of 6' sidewalks and 10' shared use paths, curb ramps, traffic signal, roundabout, and streetlights. A new traffic signal will be located at the intersection of Ray White Road and Wall Price Keller Road. The project also includes construction of an enclosed drainage system. The existing single lane roundabout at Ray White Road and Wyndrook Street will be completely reconstructed as a double lane roundabout. The project will be performed within existing City right-of-way; however, additional right-of-way will be required and obtained between Wall Price Keller Road and Hilcroft Road and at the intersection Ray White Road and Wyndrook Street. The City's Design Engineer is Burns & McDonnell, Inc. The The presentation given at the conference and any questions and answers provided at the conference will be issued as an Addendum to the bid. All interested proposers are strongly encouraged to participate in this conference. All proposers shall note that it is the policy of the City to ensure the full and equitable participation of Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) in the procurement of goods and services. The Request for Proposals will contain specific details as to the MWBE goals requirement for this project. The successful proposer for this project will be required to furnish a separate Performance Bond, Payment Bond, and a Two-Year Maintenance Bond in the amount of 100 percent of the construction budget or guaranteed maximum price amount. The City reserves the right to waive irregularities and informalities and accept such proposals or to reject all proposals. Any proposer that contacts any of the City's elected officials or staff, or the City's design consultants, (except as allowed under Article 2.03 of the Request for Proposals) directly or indirectly after the date of issue of this Request for Proposals for the purpose or appearance of influencing the selection process prior to award shall be immediately disqualified and removed from consideration.
