Description

Site Work: The contractor shall be responsible for the specific items defined below. a. ALL utilities shall be underground once in the park boundaries. i. The Contractor should bid with the assumption of trenching through dirt and should give a unit price for rock removal per cubic yard of “Trench Rock” if or when rock is trenched. b. The contractor is responsible for the full installation from the utility provider connection point to the location end point identified onsite in the park. i. Contractor may install a main line with transformer “box” at the end point if such is less expensive or is necessary due to the distance of the installation. c. Site conditions: i. The contractor shall be responsible for the conditions of the work site and be responsible for all safety issues and to assure that the work site is compliant with all applicable federal, state, and local work laws and regulations. ii. The contractor shall be responsible for daily site clean-up. iii. The contractor shall be responsible to remove / mitigate all hazards. iv. The contractor shall be responsible to install and maintain a tape or fence barrier around any open pits or other dangerous areas. v. The contractor shall be responsible to acquire all necessary permits and to collaborate with the specific utility provider to ensure a smooth installation of the respective electrical service. vi. Tap on and Service Installation fees from the utility companies will be paid by the County directly to the utility provider to expedite the bidding process. vii. Contractor shall be responsible for all areas disturbed by the installation of this project, including gravel for the driveway and/or seed and straw for soil areas. viii. The removal of any tree must be authorized by the Director. Any tree greater than twelve (12) inches in diameter should be avoided as much as possible. Electrical i. The contractor shall be responsible for providing and installing the proper size wiring to the end point location to handle a general load of 200 amps. ii. The contactor shall be responsible for providing and installing the proper size conduit to the end point location for the wire to be contained. iii. The contactor shall be responsible for ensuring the conduit is installed at a proper level below ground to meet building codes. iv. The contactor shall install a temporary electrical panel at the end location on a wood post. The panel must be properly secured and have one GFCI outlet to the bottom of the panel. v. Contractor shall be responsible for all areas disturbed by the installation of this project. Including gravel for the driveway and/or seed and straw for soil areas.
