Well Services

These Specifications are intended to cover the full range of commercial and residential well maintenance, repair, and installation services for large Utility Operation Bureau wells including vertical turbines and smaller wells for other County agencies located Anne Arundel County, Maryland. Any County agency may use this Contract at its sole discretion if the need arises under the same terms, conditions, and pricing. Work may include (but is not limited to), inspection and troubleshooting of well-pumping problems; removal, repair, re-installation and/or replacement of well pump/motor/column assemblies; repair of damaged sections of the well casing; video inspection of wells, modification of or addition to well piping, structures, instrumentation, and chemical feed systems, and installation of new wells. Obtaining permits, drilling, installation of commercial, monitoring, residential wells, and treatment systems, geophysical logging, decommissioning drilled and dug wells, obtaining portability certificates, conversion residential wells to monitoring wells, well development, installation and repair of submersible pumps, including sampling pumps, restoration of landscaping and facilities, documentation of work activities, findings, and construction, and installation of residential water supply wells on private residential properties. Anne Arundel County will provide legal access to each residential property.
