Kitchen Replacement

The Federal Aviation Administration (Faa) Has A Requirement For Essex County Airport Air Traffic Control Tower Base Building Kitchen Replacement In Caldwell, New Jersey. The project consists of the replacement of the base building kitchen. The work shall include, but is not limited to the following: 1. Demolition work: a. Removal and disposal of excessfurniture. b. Removal and disposal of existing wall and base cabinets, lighting, soffit and appliances. c. Removal and disposal of existing water chiller, hot water heater, closet sheetrock, closet wall, closet door, closet shelf, closet lighting and closet outlet. d. Remove electrical circuits and plumbing as needed. e. Install temporary refrigerator in the conference room for use during construction. 2. Relocation to include but not be limited to the following: a. Plumbing waste and waterlines b. Lightswitch and lighting circuit 3. New work shall include but not be limited to the following: a. Installation of kitchen electrical outlets, lighting and circuits. b. Installation of ADA compliant base cabinets with countertop, wall cabinets and stainless steel backsplash. c. Installation of ADA compliant kitchen appliances. d. Installation of ADA compliant sink with faucet. e. Installation of range hood extinguishing system. d. Installation of ceiling system. Contractor to provide additional matching material as needed to provide a complete installation. e. Installation of new floor tiles over existing tiles and under the refrigerator, sink and cabinets. f. Installation of sheetrock. Paint all walls in the breakroom. g. Installation of new hot water heater with electrical and plumbing. h. Assemble Government Furnished Kitchen Cart i. Mount existing TV to thewall.
