Description

The project includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction necessary and incidental to providing the work shown on the bidding documents and generally described as plans including but not limited to the following: Project work items to be provided under this bid scope: Site feature demolition Temporary erosion control measures Earthwork Compacted aggregate and asphalt paving Cast-in-place concrete Parking striping with signage Crosswalk markings w/ tactile strip Play Structure Equipment with safety surface Park Sign Railing, Fence Topsoil and Sod/Seeding Planting - trees and vine Electrical Utility Installation and Source Connections Area Lighting installation Park roadway Crosswalk Storm water Management System Bid Alternates: Asphalt Roadway Pavement Removal of top section of the existing foundation wall adjacent to the Ausable River Park Entrance Sign No bidder may withdraw their bid within forty-five (45) calendar days after the actual date of the bid opening thereof. Each bid is to be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders. The successful bidder is required to furnish construction performance and payment bonds in the full amount of the contract amount. The following goals have been set for this project: 13% Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and 17% Women-owned Business Enterprise (WBE). The successful bidder may be required to furnish reports showing the participation of various business enterprises of subcontractors and suppliers on the contract. Owner reserves the right to reject any-and-all Bids, to waive any-and-all informalities, and the right to disregard all nonconforming, or Conditional Bids.
