Description

Contractor (s) will obtain required building/engineering permits and furnish all labor, materials and tools necessary to perform the following tasks in accordance with the attached drawing: A. Prepare and submit the necessary M.O.T. drawings to procure the necessary Town of Davie and Broward County Traffic Engineering permits and safely close the pedestrian traffic crossing for the duration of the project. The Town will reimburse the actual cost of the permit fee only to the Contractor. B. Provide necessary signage notifying pedestrians of the impending crossing closure. Signage must indicate the date of closure, be up for a minimum of two (2) weeks prior to the actual closure and shall remain up for the duration of the project. C. Remove the existing signal head, blank-out sign, pedestrian signal, pedestrian detector buttons, pedestrian directions sign, and all other hardware. Deliver the existing signal head to the Town of Davie, and store the blank-out sign, pedestrian signal, pedestrian detector buttons, pedestrian directions sign, and all other hardware for re-installation on the new signal pole. D. Remove and dispose of the existing signal pole. E. Cut and remove the four (4) existing 5/8” anchor bolts flush to the top of the existing foundation. F. Core drill and epoxy four (4) new 1” diameter anchors 24” deep on a 15” bolt circle to match the slots in the bottom of the new transformer base and install the new break away transformer and 10” Aluminum Pole. G. Re-install the existing blank out sign, pedestrian signal, pedestrian detector buttons, pedestrian directions sign, and all other hardware along with the new 4 section signal head. H.
