RFP D/B - Erwin Center Park Pool

The owner has selected a Design Builder. A timeline for construction has not yet been established. As-Constructed Drawings: As-Constructed Drawings completed no later than 30 calendar days after Project Completion. All DB Design Development, DB Construction Documents and As-Constructed Drawings shall be submitted to the City of Gastonia Representative Tripp White. Schedule The work in this Projectshall be completed in accordance with the following schedule: DB Design Development Documents: DB Design Development Documents submitted no later than 30 calendar days after award. (Approximate date of November 15, 2022) City of Gastonia review completed no laterthan 7 calendar days aftersubmission of DB Design Development Documents. Description Project is for the design and construction of a swimming pool with: Geysers, buckets, (3) rainfalls, and a double loop slide. Decking is based off 7,761 square foot. The project also includes the renovation of the 2,250 square foot bathhouse, including but not limited to men's and women's changing rooms, restrooms, concessions window, roofing, administrative office. Location This project is located at 913 N. Pryor Street, Gastonia, NC 28052 Scope In accordance with the terms and conditions of the Contract, the Design-Build Contractor (DBC) shall perform the work of this Project for the City of Gastonia as described below. The City of Gastonia Standard Specifications and City of Gastonia Standard Details shall apply to this project. The DBC Team is responsible for providing all design and construction services required for the project inclusive of, but not limited to, the following: architectural, electrical, structural, mechanical, plumbing, and any other required specialty. Project Name: Erwin Center Park Pool The City of Gastonia, North Carolina (the City) is soliciting and accepting Statements of Qualification and Proposal from interested and qualified firms for providing design-build construction services for the Erwin Center Park Swimming Pool and Bathhouse (hereafter referred to as the PROJECT). The City reserves the right to cancel this RFQ for any reason without any liability or to waive any irregularities at their discretion. Please note that the overall Statement of Qualifications / Proposal should be limited to a maximum of 20 pages including the cover and back pages.
