All bids will beconsidered valid until 60 days after the opening date, although notaccepted or rejected. The work for which proposals are invited consists of a Soldier Pileand Concrete Lagging Wall and other miscellaneous items associated with the construction of the ATH-TR174-0.09 Each bid shall have filed with it a bid guaranty in the form of acertified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit revocable onlyat the option of Troy Township in an amount equal to 10% of thebid or a bond in accordance with division (B) of Section 153.54 ofthe Revised Code. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or partiessubmitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Eachbidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. The owner intends and requires that thisproject be completed no later than June 1st, 2023. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will tothe extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractorcompliance with the equal employment opportunity requirementsof Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123 is required. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on PublicImprovements in Athens County as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Bureau of Wage and Hour Administration,614.644.2239. The Trustees of Troy Township reserves the right to reject any and/ or all bids and to waive informalities as may be in the best interestof Troy Township.
