Construct Baggage Claim Expansion at Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport

The County reserves the right to award the bid to the lowest responsive respondent and to waive any irregularity or technicality in bids received. Okaloosa County shall be the sole judge of the bid and the resulting Agreement that is in its best interest and its decision shall be final. A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be conducted in-person [ located at 1701 State Road 85 North, Eglin A.F.B. 32542-1498 on 2nd Floor, Conference room 1] and simultaneously through a Zoom meeting Construct Baggage Claim Expansion Okaloosa County (COUNTY) and the airport staff (AIRPORT) desire to modify the existing baggage claim systems and construct an expansion of the baggage claim portion of the east terminal non-secure public use areas as well as the canopy over the baggage claim load belts in the secure area. The project will construct a baggage claim expansion with baggage claim systems, rental car counters and offices, and airline baggage offices. The project will also renovate the existing baggage claim portion of the east terminal. Impacts to existing airport facilities that will be incurred include: connection to water, sewer, gas, electrical, landscaping, covered walkway, and other airport facilities.
