Description | Kitsap County Jail HVAC Replacement PROJECT LOCATION: Kitsap County Jail 614 Division St. Port Orchard, WA 98366 ESTIMATED BASE BID COST RANGE: $ 6,500,000 to $ 7,500,000. Replace existing HVAC air handlers, boilers, piping, HVAC system controls and electrical with new; install new VRF system. Bidders are responsible to verify and use the most recent prevailing wage rates. The "Effective Date" for this project is the Bid due date. The applicable prevailing wage rates may be found on the Department of Labor and Industries website. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in an amount not less than 5% of the base bid amount, made payable to the Owner. The successful bidder is required to furnish a Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bond for 100% of the contract amount. Such bonds shall be furnished by a State Licensed Surety Company; the surety company shall be acceptable to the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities in the bidding and to accept bids which are considered in the best interests of the Owner. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. |
