The completion date for this project is September 15, 2025. Statements of Minority and Women Business Enterprises participation must be presented with this bid. The combined MBE/WBE goal is 12% for this contract. The North Carolina Department of Transportation is requesting bids for widening. resurfacing, and pavement markings on NC 87 and six secondary roads in Rockingham County. All quantities are estimates. The Contractor shall furnish labor, equipment and materials All prospective bidders shall be prequalified with the Department of Transportation prior to submitting a bid. Contractors who are not prequalified may obtain information and forms for prequalifying from the Contractual Services Unit, Division of Highways, Department of Transportation, 1509 Mail Service Center, Raleigh, NC. All required prequalification statements and documents shall be filed with the Contractual Services Unit at least four weeks prior to the date of opening bids.
