Description

The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, supplies, tools, and safety measures to perform mechanical services to Caterpillar natural gas engines, Caterpillar diesel engines, Amarillo angle gear drives, DeRan angle gear drives, and Couch pumps at five stormwater pump stations in the City of Weston. The general scope of work includes but not limited to preventive maintenance, planned and unplanned repairs, and inspections of the mechanical systems and associated components at the pump stations Contractor shall have a minimum of five years experience in providing Mechanical Services to units with similar features and sizes as those owned by the City. Relevant work experience includes but is not limited to: use of required testing and measuring equipment required to troubleshoot, repair and maintain Caterpillar diesel and gas engines, gear drives and water pumps. 2. Contractors shall have been incorporated and in continuous operation for a minimum of the past five years from the date that this bid is issued. 3. Contractors shall be fully licensed with all required State and/or Local government licenses - copies of the licenses shall be provided upon request. The City reserves the right to: 1. Award all or a portion of the services as determined to be in the best interest of the City. 2. Award to one or more than one Contractor as determined to be in the best interest of the City. 3. Reject any or all bids if found not to be in the best interest of the City.
