The Project Includes the Following Work: See Appendix a - Scope of Work. 2022 Collection System Improvements. All Bidders Shall Submit, Upon Request, a List of Projects "Successfully Completed" in the Last 2 Years, Having the Same Scope of Work and Approximate Construction Cost as Specified in This Project. All Bidders Must Comply With Requirements of the Contractor's Licensing Law of the State of Tennessee and Be Certified for the Type of Work on Which the Proposal Is Submitted. Each Bidder Must Deposit With His Bid, Security in the Amount, Form and Subject to the Conditions Provided in the Instructions to Bidders. All Bidders Must Be Licensed Contractors in the State of Tennessee in Strict Accordance With State Regulations. No Bid Will Be Opened Unless the Outside of the Sealed Envelope Containing the Bid Provides the Following Information: the Name, License Number, the Date of the License's Expiration, and the Classification of the Contractors Applying to the Bid for the Prime Contract and for Electrical, Plumbing, Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Contracts, Except When the Bid Is in an Amount Less Than Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000) or Less Than One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000) for Masonry Work. When the Bid Is Less Than Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000), the Name of the Contractor Only May Appear on the Outside of the Envelope Containing the Bid, and Upon Opening the Envelope, if Such Bid Is in Excess of Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000), the Same Shall Automatically Be Disqualified. Prime Contractor Bidders Who Are to Perform the Electrical, Plumbing, Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Must Be So Designated Upon the Outside of the Envelope. Failure of Any Bidder to Comply Therewith Shall Void Such Bid and the Envelope Containing Such Bid Shall Not Be Opened or Considered. In the Case of Joint Ventures Bids, Each Party Submitting the Bid Must Provide This Information. The Owner Reserves the Right to Waive Any Informalities, or to Reject Any or All Bids, and to Award the Contract to the Best and Most Responsible Bidder.
