Description | **As of August 15, 2022, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** Citrus County, Florida ("County") invites interested parties to submit a Bid to provide complete construction of the Northwest Quadrant Force Main Extension Project to include approximately 22,240 LF of 10-inch PVC force main, 7,200 LF of 12-inch HDPE force main via directional drill, 3 lift stations, decommissioning of two existing package Wastewater Treatment Facilities, and general restoration of the project areas. All work shall be in accordance with the construction plans, special provisions, and contract documents. Minimum Requirements for Submitting a Bid Bidder shall meet, at a minimum, one of the following requirements to be determined a responsive and responsible Bidder at the time of Bid Submittal: 1. Certified General Contractors License 2. Underground Utility Contractors License Bidder's will be required to submit a Bid for the two projects "ITB 22-096 Northwest Quadrant Watermain Extension Project" and "ITB 22-098 Northwest Quadrant Wastewater Extension Project". County's intention is to award both projects to one (1) Contractor utilizing two (2) separate Agreements. Northwest Quadrant Watermain Extension project will be funded by U.S. Department of the Treasury through American Rescue Fund Act (ARPA) and the Northwest Wastewater Extension Project will be funded pursuant to the Restore Act Spill Impact Component and Florida State Expenditure Plan (FSEP) passed through the Gulf Consortium and State of Florida Department of Environmental Protection. Contractor will be required to follow the mandatory Federal provisions provided for each project. Davis Bacon Procedures will be required for the Northwest Quadrant Wastewater Extension Project and not the Northwest Quadrant Watermain Extension Project. Question End Date 6/17/2022 4:00 PM. |
