Description

The contractor will take reasonable and prudent measurers to identify all required inspections and preventive maintenance required by NFPA, the Joint Commission, Maryland Department of Health Care Quality, and the Code of Maryland Regulations as well as manufacturers specifications related to the Fire Sprinkler/Suppression and Standpipe system at the Western Maryland Hospital. The Contractor will provide 24 hour /7 day per week emergency service if the system fails and places the hospital in a fire watch situation. The contractor will provide routine service during normal business hours within 48 hours of the service request. The contractor will quarterly in February, May, August, and November do a complete inspection of the Fire Sprinkler system and submit a written report and plan with cost estimates of any corrections to deficiencies within 30 days of the inspection. The contractor will insure that the fire sprinkler system communicates with the fire alarm system as required.
