Industrial Water Treatment Facility (IWTF) Tank Replacement

Contractor to procure a tank (See Section C, Specifications, below) to complete the replacement of above-ground chemical tank to be installed with existing piping and appurtenances. The tank is located at the Solid Waste Facility Complex at 2861 110th Avenue North, Saint Petersburg, FL 33716 (see Exhibit A). 1. Removal i. Remove the existing siding and beam to allow access to existing tank (to be set aside and reinstalled) ii. Remove the existing 12,150 gallon tank from the above-ground containment area iii. Cut-up and remove tank from the site and dispose appropriately at the Solid Waste facility 2. Installation i. Lift new tank from delivery truck and place onto existing housekeeping pad iii. Attach the existing piping and appurtenances to new tank iv. Reinstall the siding and beam that were extracted prior to the tank replacement iv. Water test the tank
