| Description | DLA has a requirement to demolish and replace the current 400 kVA Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) at the Data Center East (Dayton, OH) location. Upgrading the UPS is not possible due to the aging of this current technology and new UPS components are more efficient with a smaller footprint, and can be placed on computer room floor, closer to the equipment required to be supported. This eliminates the need for a separate room to support the UPS and batteries along with the required redundant AC units for those supporting UPS-Battery rooms. The current single UPS system is located in the basement of Building 207. The new location of the UPS shall be the first floor in Building 207. | ||
