Description

The work generally consists of furnishing and installation of water system piping, fittings, valves, and appurtenances for potable water. Installation will consist of 6"-10" PVC RJ Yelomine HDD and 6"-10" PVC SDR-21 Water Main along design route. Contractor is responsible for installation of the proposed main as shown on the plans, installing valves, hydrants, casing, fittings, connections, services, service relocations, lead/galvanize service removal, and disconnections. This work also includes surface restoration with various pavements and curbing as detailed in the plans and specifications titled "City of Effingham Industrial TIF Water Main Replacement 2021." The proposed water main is being installed to replace an existing older and smaller water main.
