Description

Collection, removal and disposal of solid waste from the Municipality. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A .10:5-31 et seq. (Law Against Discrimination) and N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2 (Statement of Ownership) and all other applicable laws. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 40A:11-23.2 (Local Public Contracts Law) and N.J.S.A. 52:32-44 (Business Registration) and submit a current New Jersey Business Registration Certificate at the time of the bid proposal. All corporations, limited liability companies or partnerships must disclose the names and addresses of stockholders, members or partners having an interest of ten (10%) percent or more in the corporation, limited liability company or partnership. This information must be filed on or before the date set forth above when the bids are to be opened and read in public. Telephone facsimile or email documents will not be accepted. Proposals must be made on the standard Proposal forms that are annexed to the Bid Specifications and must be accompanied by a Disclosure of Ownership and Non Collusion Affidavit, which documents are made part of the bid specification package. Bid security is required in the amount of 10% of the highest aggregate three (3) year bid submitted, not to exceed twenty thousand dollars ($20,000). A certificate from a surety company licensed to do business in the State of New Jersey is required to be submitted indication consent of the company to be bound as surety and guarantor for performance required under the contract document. The Borough Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any immaterial defect or informality in any bid if deemed in the interest of the Municipality to do so. The Contract will be awarded within sixty (60) days after the date on which bids are received.
