Public Works Administration Building HVAC Renovation

This project is located at 949 NW 38th Street, in the City of Fort Lauderdale. The work to be accomplished under this contract includes, but is not limited to, replacement of the existing chillers, chilled water pumps, all associated pipe, equipment and devices in chilled water yard; existing rooftop and indoor air handling units, associated ductwork, piping, and devices; existing concrete pad; plumbing, electrical and fire protection updates necessary to accommodate new rooftop and indoor air handling units, in compliance with current code and regulations, and all other items as per drawings and specifications. Bid Alternate 1 for replacement of the existing split system air conditioning unit for the IT room. Bid Alternate 2 for cleaning and sanitizing of the existing ductwork. Bid Alternate 3 for the relocation of the exhaust fans within the breezeway area. Bid Alternate 4 for the relocation of the Fire Department Connection (FDC) within the breezeway area. Bid Alternate 5 procure and install the Bipolar ionization (BPI) to all air conditioning units. Bid Alternate 6 procure and install Ultraviolet (UV) lights for air conditioning units.
