Description	Provide programming design services for the Multi-Discipline Academic/Research STEM Building. This project is initially the programming of a new 162,500 GSF facility, which is identified to be located at the site of an existing building, Peterson (Building #22). The cost to demolish Peterson is not included in this projected budget. The building will be dedicated to multiple disciplines within the STEM programs. A new multi-discipline science building is needed to provide adequate space for departments that have increased enrollments over the last several years in order to maintain a high academic standard. . If the project is approved to move into the design and construction phase, the selected design professional may continue work through the whole project duration, or, at Owner discretion, the Owner may solicit for a new design professional for the design and construction phase. NAU is seeking a Design Professional with experience in higher-education science and technology buildings and labs. Additionally, experience in programming and early design of projects is required. Firms submitting a Statement of Qualifications must demonstrate comparable project-type experience. Any individual(s) or firm(s) proposing to perform engineering services must be appropriately licensed / registered in the State of Arizona at the time of submission of the Qualifications.
