Fire Station 7 Roof Replacement

1. Asphalt shingles are to be a standard three-tab, 20year min 2. The flat roof section needs to be fully removed down to the deck. Inspect the deck and repair any damaged area. Install new rigid board tapered insulation and a new EPDM membrane glued down. 3. Replace all plumbing vent boots, metal rake, drip-edge and fascia flashing. Flashing and counter-flashing in good condition can remain, but any damaged or failing flashing is to be replaced. 4. Replace the shed roofing on both exterior door canopies. Replace all flashing, counterflashing and trim. 5. Install “Kick-Out” flashing trim at all roof to wall intersections to direct storm water into gutters or out and away from the masonry walls 6. The intent is to install a complete and weather tight 20yr roof system.
