Rattlesnake Hammock Preserve Fencing and Gate Project

Installation of approximately 640ft of 3-4ft tall wooden split rail fence, an automatic sliding gate, and removable bollards (Figure 2). The purpose of this fencing is to prohibit vehicle access to the preserve parking lot between sunset and sunrise and to prohibit unauthorized vehicle access to the hiking trail. Quotes should include the cost of 640ft of 3-4ft tall wooden split rail fencing, two removable bollards, a 16ft automatic sliding cantilevered gate made of black chain link, a gate operator, connection to power or solar battery system, permitting, and the removal of the current gate (Figures 1 and 2). There is currently no electricity running to the site. Electricity will be run to site if the cost is less than that of installing and operating a solar powered gate operator.
