IDIQ - Statewide Movable Bridge Repair, FY22-24

The improvements consist of furnishing all labor, material, and equipment for the statewide movable bridge repair contract which will be open end giving flexibility to assign work based on need. The contract will also include work that has already been identified. Follow other incidental construction in accordance with the location, notes and details shown on the plans, and as directed by the Engineer. Bidders enter their Bid Item prices onto the supplied CD then print the form and deliver in a sealed envelope; the Bid Form, completed CD, and required documents prior to the Bid due date and time. Do not submit both Internet and Paper Bids. If so, the Internet bid and documents will be rejected. DBE GOAL %: 5% Disadvantaged Business Enterprise goal for the overall contract, not each work order. The Bid Opening will be held at Delaware Department of Transportation, Administration Building North Entrance, Bidders Room, 800 Bay Road, Dover, DE 19901Bidder bears the risk of late delivery, bids received after the stated time will be returned unopened. The Department intends to award to one bidder, with award based on the lowest responsive and responsible bidder(s). This is a 1,095 Calendar Day contract. The contract cannot be extended. Extensions of contract time due to weather are specified in the Standard Specifications Section 108.7F, weather days. The Departments intent is to issue a Notice to Proceed for work to start on or about January 30, 2023. This is an Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract utilizing both state and federal funds in accordance with 29 Del.C. 6970 and 23 CFR 635 Subpart F.
