Botanical Center Radius Pergola Installation

In the Spring of 2022 work will commence on ‘Rose Meadow Path’ – a serpentine stone dust path connecting the Conservatory to the Rose Maze. About one 1/3 of the way down the path there will be a level stone dust landing with a radius pergola overhead. The post-to-post dimensions of the pergola are approximately 8.5’x22’ with the overhead structure roughly 10’x26’. The material for all overhead components of the pergola is to be Azek (or approved equal), beams and joists are to be internally reinforced with galvanized steel or 6061 Structural aluminum Tubing or I-beams. Columns are to be fabricated of fiberglass or AZEK with a galvanized steel pipe core that is to be set in concrete at the base and to have a threaded rod at top to anchor the beam.
