Description | Notes: o These schedules are for pricing/payment purposes. See Instructions to Offerors for business proposal requirements. Price Proposals MUST be provided on ALL Items in Schedules: Mandatory Work, Optional Work, Timber or other products Removal Price Schedule, and Timber Subject to Agreement. Unit prices prevail. o The Timber Subject to Agreement Products are directly related to Optional Items 5 and 6. Prices are required for both as stated above and will be awarded together. Award of Optional Items 5 and 6 will require the removal of TSA as included product. Forest Service reserves the right to award individual subdivisions at the unit price with the estimated TSA products for that subdivision. TSA volumes are estimates; there will be no increase or decrease in unit price per acres for Items 5 and 6 based on over/underrun of TSA estimates. o There exists a Temporary Land Use Agreement to access unit 149. See provision C5.11#. o Associated deposits include $0.24/ton for slash disposal, $1.20/ton for road maintenance, and $1.08/ton for surface replacement. Road maintenance and surface replacement deposits apply to hauling of biomass as well. o For Item 4, contractors bid per mile and total cost will prevail. All listed sub-items shall equal the total Item cost. o For construction, the estimated price magnitude is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. If the total value of the road reconstruction items (construction item 4 Road Reconstruction of Haul Routes) is greater than $150,000, payment and performance bonds are required and shall be provided within 10 days of award. Bonds shall be 100% of the total value of the road reconstruction items (see FAR 52.228-15 Performance and Payment Bonds -- Construction (JUN 2020) (DEVIATION APR 2020). A bid guarantee shall be required whenever performance and payment bonds are required (see FAR 52.228-1 Bid Guarantee (SEP 1996) (DEVIATION MAY 2020)). For required bonding, include the costs within Item 4(a) Mobilization. No separate payment for bond premiums shall be made. A site visit is scheduled for August 2, 2022 to view the project area and discuss the objectives of this contract. Meet at 9:00 am at Mi-Wok Ranger Station, 24695 Hwy 108, Mi-Wuk Village CA 95346. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE IS FROM DATE OF AWARD THROUGH OCTOBER 31st, 2026. Payment for Land Management Work Activities in Schedule of Items will be made in Stewardship Credits and Appropriated Funds. All Base Work Activities (Mandatory) shall be performed. Optional activities are listed in order of planned priority. Award may be made for optional items in any order that the Contracting Officer determines is in the best interest of the Government. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. |
