Septic System Repair and Replacement

Contractors to provide septic system repair and replacement at various County locations. Work may also be performed for the Community Assistance Division at residential housing sites. Some Community Assistance projects may be funded using grant monies. 1. Connecting County facilities or eligible residential homes to existing or new sewer systems 2. Pumping out septic tanks 3. Installing clean-outs or replacing clean-out fittings, per code 4. Cleaning out existing soil line from facility or residential homes to sewer tap and/or septic tank 5. Installing new drain field on existing septic system and re-sodding 6. Installing new septic tank, drain field, and re-sodding. Septic tank shall be installed with a riser on each chamber with a heavy duty lid 7. Installing new septic tank and mound system drain field (using an approved health department method), including lift station, wiring tie-in, grading, and replacement of sod. A riser system shall be installed on the dosing tank 8. Pumping out and abandoning old tank, removing or filling old tank with sand, and replacing sod as necessary 9. Pumping out grease traps.
