Description

This project has been cancelled. Project requires a Contractor to remove approximately 10,850 LNFT of existing, abandoned railroad track, including all rail, timber ties, O&M material, and other loose debris. Debris shall be disposed of and/or be salvaged in a legal and lawful manner. Any environmental hazards shall be disposed of in accordance to state and federal regulations. Disturbed area shall be graded to a level surface and free of voids. Any track embedded in asphalt shall remain in place and be cut off at the edge of pavement at no direct pay. Existing bridges shall not be traversed by any vehicular traffic or construction equipment. Inquiry Deadline March 28, 2023 2:00 PM Performance Bond For projects costing twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) or more, the successful Respondent shall be required to provide a performance (surety) bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the project cost to insure the successful performance under the terms and conditions of the contract negotiated between the successful Respondent and the Parish Payment Monthly certificates for partial payment, in a form approved by the Parish, shall be transmitted to the Parish upon receipt from the Contractor and acceptance by the Parish. When the contract price is less than five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000), these certificates shall be equal to ninety percent (90%) of both the work performed and materials stored at the site
