Annual Water Meter Replacement

Many of these meters require installation of new vaults and boxes, meter setters, service lines, bypass lines, test ports or some combination. The Contractor will be responsible for installation of all piping and materials required to upgrade the water service to current City Standards. Work will include, but is not limited to, demolition of existing infrastructure, installation of new vaults, meter setters, and service lines, connection to existing water mains and private service lines, and restoration of asphalt, concrete, and landscaping. At the discretion of the City of Charlottesville, the contract is subject to four 1-year renewals. Individual Task Orders shall be given to the Contractor who shall perform the necessary work.
