Milling and Overlay of Various Streets Project

Generally, the work under this contract includes furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for Milling and Overlaying approximately 8,350 square yards of asphalt street surface, including the installation of approximately 1, 185 tons of hot-m ix asphalt at five (5) locations in the City of Durango .All work shall be completed under the supervision and inspection of the City Project Manager or assigned agent. Any deviation from the standard specifications shall be approved, in writing, in advance. Any deviation from the standard specifications without prior authorization shall result in the immediate suspension of work, and possible termination of contract. Project sites and specifications for each area: SO-1 9th St from Narrow Gauge Ave train tracks) to E 2nd Ave Work shall include; Milling entire area including milling 2” below gutter and drain pans. Milling shall establish a consistent 2-5% cross slope from the centerline of the road to the curb flow line. Repave with a single 2 -1/4” hot mix asphalt mat Project area is approximately 3,900 SY - 525 Tons of asphalt SO-2 Needham Circle (AKA Needham Drive) from Columbine Drive East to end of Cul-De-Sac Work shall include; Milling entire area including milling 2” below gutter and drain pans. Milling shall establish a consistent 2-5% cross slope from the centerline of the road to the curb flow line. Repave with a single 2 -1/4” hot mix asphalt mat Project area is approximately 1,320 SY - 200 Tons of asphalt SO-3 Needham Drive from Delwood Avenue, 180 feet to the East Work shall include; Milling entire area including milling 2” below gutter and drain pans. Milling shall establish a consistent 2-5% cross slope from the centerline of the road to the curb flow line. Repave with a single 2 -1/4” hot mix asphalt mat Project area is approximately 720 SY - 110 Tons of asphalt SO-4 Turner Drive from Bodo Drive to Entrance of County Jail (400 Feet) Work shall include; Milling entire area including milling 2” below gutter and drain pans. Milling shall establish a consistent 2-5% cross slope from the centerline of the road to the curb flow line. Repave with a single 2 -1/4” hot mix asphalt mat Project area is approximately 1,400 SY - 200 Tons of asphalt SO-5 Escalante Drive from Dominguez Drive 250 feet North (AKA Wal-Mart Entrance) Work shall include; Milling entire area including milling 2” below gutter and drain pans. Milling shall establish a consistent 2-5% cross slope from the centerline of the road to the curb flow line. Repave with a single 2 -1/4” hot mix asphalt mat Project area is approximately 1,000 SY - 150 Tons of asphalt
