| Description | Inspection Of Approximately Eight Hundred And Sixty Five (865) Structures Owned By The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission. The Structures Include Bridges And Culverts That Are 20 Feet Or More In Length. Visual And Hands-On Re-Inspection Of Approximately Three Hundred Twenty Five (325) Sign Structures. Visual And Hands-On Initial Inspection Of Approximately One Hundred And Forty (140) Electronic Tolling Structures. Additionally, The Contract Will Include The Underwater Inspection Of Approximately Twenty (20) Structure Foundations As Required. The Work Will Be Performed In Such a Manner As To Meet The Current National Bridge Inspection Standards Of The Federal Highway Administration And The Pennsylvania Department Of Transportation's Bridge Management System (Bms2). The Previous Inspection Reports Are Either On File In The Engineering Department Or Within The Commission's Web Based Pontis Bridge Management System |
