Description Refurbish Chiller #2 Trane Model CVHE032 compressor and associated chiller components. 1.Lock and tag out electrical unit. 2.Dismantle centrifugal compressor 3.Include any permits if required. 4.Recover and store refrigerant from existing system., Refrigerant to be turned over to owner at project completion if owner so chooses to accept it, otherwise refrigerant to be removed from site at Contractor's expense. 5.Provide refrigerant analysis. 6.Provide inspection and verification of proper inlet guide vane assembly, motor shaft, labyrinth seals, and the impellers. Assure compliance with original manufacturer's specifications. 7.Provide inspection of the motor including rotor bar as well as the resistance analysis, and assure compliance with original manufacturer's specifications. 8.Provide adjustments as needed to controls and measuring devises to assure compliance with manufacturer's specifications. 9.Provide inspection of the overload controls, contactors, wiring, and other starter components. 10.Provide cleaning and inspection of the lubrication system including the oil pump, regulator, filters, heating elements, and sump. 11.Provide cleaning and inspection of economizer and liquid flanges (recommend repairs if needed) Installation of refurbished compressor with new manufacturer approved motor bearings. 12.Speed balance the rotor and impellers prior to reassembly of the compressor. 13.Reassemble the centrifugal compressor, auxiliary vapor and liquid lines, and sight glasses with all new manufacturer approved gaskets. 14.Clean and verify purge. 15.Perform vibration analysis as a base line at chiller start-up. 16.Replace motor terminal board. 17.Installation of motor terminal bboard using new manufacturer approved gaskets and terminal O-rings. 18.Replace relief valve carbon disk and gaskets. 19.Conduct chiller evacuation and leak testing to manufacturer's specifications. 20.Charge with refrigerant and adjust charge as necessary. (Additional refrigerant will be provided by the Owner).
