Description | The Baileys Trail System - Chauncey project will remove Hazardous Equipment Facilities previously associated with the New York Coal Company, Manhattan No. 25 mine, improve the Chauncey-Dover Community park, construct a bike path from Spring Street to the Baileys Trail Head, replace sidewalk and overlay streets in the Village of Chauncey. The Hazardous Equipment Facilities consist of four buildings that will be demolished and removed and one cistern that will be filled. There is approximately 3,300 lineal feet of sidewalk, 1,300 lineal feet of street overlay and 2,800 lineal feet of asphalt bike path planned. Improvements at the Chauncey-Dover Community park consist of a box culvert, asphalt access road, playground equipment, basketball court, restroom, sewer line, bicycle tracks and parking areas. |
