Pine Street Sidewalk Improvements 5th Ave to 6th Ave

All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in a cashier's check or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Ellensburg. The engineer's estimate for the project is $250,000 to $350,000, plus tax (if applicable). *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and other miscellaneous items to remove existing concrete sidewalk, curb and gutter, pavement, and subgrade; prep subgrade, place and compact top course, construct cement concrete curb, gutter, and ADA compliant curb ramps; construct drive approach; install brick sidewalk pavers and patch asphalt; install new trees, tree planters and improved irrigation; and replace existing light poles with decorative historical light poles. The project will be composed of Schedule "A"; Pine Street between 5'h and 6'h Ave, terminating at north edge of driveway; and Schedule "B"; Pine Street between 5'h and 6'h Ave, beginning at north edge of driveway and terminating at 6'h Ave. The Public Works & Utilities Dept. can be reached by telephone, at (509) 962-7230.
