Contract 1 - Water Distribution System Improvements - Drinking Water System Improvements

Consisting of the furnishing of materials and labor to construct approximately 30 miles of 2” thru 12” nominal sizes of water mains (147,800 linear feet by open cut methods, 7,250 linear feet by Horizontal Directional Drilling Methods and 1,320 linear feet of ductile iron or HDPE carrier pipes installed inside of casing pipes), approximately 750 linear feet of 12” thru 24” HDPE casing pipe installed by HDD Methods, approximately 440 linear feet of 12” thru 16” steel casing pipes installed by Bore and Jack Methods, approximately 90 gate valves, 16 tapping sleeves with valves, 150 new service connections, reconnection of approximately 55 existing services to new water mains, replacement of 250 existing water meters with automated meters, along with associated work and restoration of disturbed facilities.
