Metal Storage Building

Site work and new construction of a pre-engineered storage facility in Mesquite, Nevada. Completed plans call for the construction of a pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility. The Project is to be performed within the City of Mesquite, Clark County, Nevada. The following is a summary description of the Project: The project consists of a new 50 ft x 100 ft prefabricated metal storage building to be constructed at the District's headquarters. This is an open-faced structure, consisting of four bays. The project includes the purchase of the new prefabricated building, the foundation and slab work necessary for the building's erection, finished site grading, new asphalt and concrete flatwork, and security fencing to improve the site. The purpose of the meeting will be to discuss the Project, to answer questions or concerns from Bidders, and to address any key issues related to the Project. Any Bid received after the time and date specified shall not be considered. Bids must be submitted on the documents provided and must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of five percent of the Bid. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope plainly marked on the outside of the envelope with the name of the Project, Attn: Kevin Brown, name of Bidder, Bidder's address. If the Bid is sent to the District by mail, the sealed envelope containing the Bid must be enclosed in an outer mailing envelope addressed to the District at 500 Riverside Road, Mesquite, Nevada 89027. Pursuant NRS 338.147 or NRS 338.1389, as applicable, a Bidder seeking to qualify to receive a "preference in bidding" must submit a Nevada State Contractor's Board Certificate of Eligibility evidencing the preferential status. Said certificate must be attached to and submitted with the Bid. The District reserves the right to reject any and all Bids or to waive any informalities or minor defects in a Bid in the District's sole discretion to the extent allowed by law. Any award will be on the basis of the lowest responsible Bidder, unit price, conformance to plans and specifications, Bidder's qualifications, full and accurate completion of the Bid documents, the extent to which the District judges the Bid to be in the best interests of the public (338.143(5)(c)), and other appropriate factors as may be permitted by Nevada law. Contractor shall pay District $1,000 per day for each calendar day delay in Contractor’s completion
