I-75 Bridge Approaches

**As of March 14, 2023, project was not awarded since all the the bids are rejected. The proposed work includes removing and replacing the existing concrete bridge approaches on I-75 NB and I-75 SB over the Indian River, as shown in the details and as directed by the Engineer. The existing concrete curb and gutter, guardrail, and aggregate base will be retained PROJECT LOCATION: The project is located on I-75, approximately 1.43 miles north of M-68, in Tuscarora Township, Cheboygan County, and further described below: I-75 NB / PR: 0550606: Bridge approaches south and north of the I-75 NB bridge over the Indian River, beginning 1 foot south of the HMA/concrete joint on the south side bridge and ending 1 foot north of the HMA/concrete joint on the north side of the bridge: DESCRIPTION CS 16091 MP POB to POE 16.523 - 16.585 LENGTH 0.062 miles I-75 SB / PR: 0550607: Bridge approaches north and south of the I-75 SB bridge over the Indian River, beginning 1 foot north of the HMA/concrete joint on the north side bridge and ending 1 foot south of the HMA/concrete joint on the south side of the bridge: DESCRIPTION CS 16091 MP POB to POE 16.579 - 16.641 LENGTH 0.062 miles Bidders must be prequalified in MDOT miscellaneous concrete work All work must be completed in accordance with the Michigan Department of Transportation 2020 Standard Specifications for Construction. All work specified will be paid as a Lump Sum. Project Start Date: After all Contracts are executed.
