| Description | To have a safe and properly functioning stairway at the Rio Grande Gaging Station with erosion protection and drainage devices that will prevent future erosion. Replace the metal stairway at the Rio Grande City gaging station, repair the erosion along the stairway, and install erosion protection. Heavy rainfalls coupled with clearing and grading of the land adjacent to the gaging station has caused local precipitation runoff to drain towards the gaging station and erode the slope, affecting the structural integrity of the metal stairway leading to the gaging station. |
