Description | This project is located in is located in the Green Mountain National Forest in Ripton, VT, in Addison County and is for the replacement of the culvert located on Forest Road 59 at milepost 4.9. The culvert replacement work shall include, shall include, but is not limited to, excavation, removal of existing culvert, layout and construction of the plate arch, construction of concrete substructures, stream simulation, roadway reconstruction, and approach work. The Contractor shall utilize a Government-furnished plate arch. The Contractor shall furnish all new hardware for the plate arch. This Invitation For Bids (IFB) is a Total Small Business set-aside. The magnitude of this project is considered moderate with an estimated price range of between $250,000 and $500,000. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The Forest Road 59 - 4.9 Culvert Replacement Contract work shall include, but is not limited to, excavation, removal of existing culvert, layout and construction of the plate arch, construction of concrete substructures, stream simulation, roadway reconstruction, and approach work.
