Description

To rehabilitate the S.R. 0632 (Main Street) bridge over Ackerly Creek in Dalton Borough, Lackawanna County. The existing concrete arch culvert is 20 feet wide and 47 feet long and carries two 12-foot lanes, two 6-foot shoulders, and two 5.5-foot sidewalks. The proposed scope of work involves reconstruction of the culvert's original concrete paved streambed, repair and mitigation of severe abutment undermining at both near and far abutments, and Type 2 concrete spall repair on the spandrel walls of the concrete arch culvert. All work will be underneath the structure. Traffic control measures include short term lane closures with flagging for access. All work contained within an overall length of 305 linear feet (0.058 miles) as indicated on the approved drawings included in the bid package.
