Description

Boys bathrooms: Disconnect and remove (7) urinals and (3) toilets. Floor will have to be saw cut (roughly 6' x 14') and remove concrete for plumbing access. Re-rough replacement of underground sanitary piping & domestic water for 5 new urinals. Pour new concrete, ready for new flooring. Frame new wall for new plumbing for urinals (6' x 14'). Backing for new urinals. Cement board on new wall, ready for new tile. Remove old toilet partitions for saw cutting and reinstall to completion. Tile new wall and floor with new tile. (decide colors with owner) Supply and installation of the following fixtures w/ new toilet flange replacement. 2 standard toilets Kohler 96053-0 Ultra w/ Salon 111-XL Regal valve trim. 1 ADA toilet: Kohler 96057-0 Ultra ADA w/ Sloan 111-XL Regal valve trim. 5 urinals: Kohler 4991-ET-0 Bardon w/ Sloan 186-XL Regal valve & trim. Plumbing permits & necessary insulation. Girls Bathrooms: Disconnect & removal of 7 toilets. Supply and installation of the following fixtures w/ new toilet flange replacement: 6 Standard toilets: Kohler 96053-0 Ultra w/ Sloan 111-XL Regal valve & trim. 1 ADA toilet: Kohler 96057-0 Ultra w Sloan 111-XL Regal valve & trim. Plumbing permit. Timeline: Start Date: June 12, 2023 Completion Date: August 18, 2023 Chesaning Union Schools reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities or defects, to award on a split-order or lump-sum basis, and accept other than the low bid when deemed to be in the School District best interests. The School District reserves the right to increase or decrease quantities or modify conditions and specifications by mutual agreement with the selected supplier, both at the time of acceptance of this bid as so modified and subsequent thereto. References may be requested as a part of the solicitation or after the opening of bids. When requested they are to be furnished as called for. Failure to honor this request will cause the bidder to be subject to rejection. For all proposals in the amount of $50,000 or more: Security may be a certified check, bank draft, irrevocable bank letter or credit or surety bond in the amount of 5% of the project price to secure the District from loss or damage by reason of withdrawal or by failure of the bidder to enter into a contract if the bid is accepted. All bidders must be bondable and shall include in the Proposal the cost of furnishing Labor and Material Payment and Performance Bonds each in the payable amount of 100% of the proposed bidding sum. The bonds shall hold Chesaning Union Schools as the obligation. A surety authorized by the State of Michigan must issue bonds. The surety must be listed on the current Federal Register. Failure to meet these requirements shall be cause for rejection of the bond.
