Description

The manufacturer shall provide and install ONE (1) complete Enclosed GBT 1.0m meter gravity belt thickener systems as specified herein. The system shall include the thickener, hydraulic unit, water supply booster pump, discharge TWAS Hopper, spare parts, flow meter, and all electrical controls. The GBT equipment specified in this section shall be provided by a single supplier to ensure coordination and compatibility of equipment. The manufacturer shall be responsible for unloading, rigging, plumbing and wiring the new GBT and all ancillary equipment. This includes, but is not limited to, supplying piping, conduit, electrical fixtures, wiring, concrete, welding, structural metal, fittings, hardware, etc. necessary for a complete installation. 1. Install new hydraulic power unit. 2. Connect new hydraulic line. 3. Install new venturi mixer. 4. Install new sludge flowmeter. 5. Install new GBT. 6. Anchor equipment. 7. Plumb new sludge line and polymer line with Schedule 80 PVC. 8. Brace lines. 9. Install new discharge TWAS hopper. 10. Relocate and reinstall TWAS pumps. 11. Installation of sludge hopper level sensor. 12. Installation of odor control hood. 13. Installation of exhaust fan. 14. Installation of exhaust piping. 15. Install new PVC coated rigid conduit and wiring. 16. Installation of new handrail on the existing platform/catwalk.
