Description | he Bath VA Medical Center has a requirement for the following services for generator inspections and load testing: - Provide semi-annual inspection (one in January and one in June of each contract year) on all generators (listed below) for the Bath VA Medical Center, 76 Veterans Ave, Bath, NY 14810 with a period of performance from 10/01/2020 to 09/30/2021, with the provision of four (4) option years. Equipment List for semi-annual inspections: One (1) Onan 25kW, One (1) Kohler 80kW, One (1) Stamford 450kW, One (1) Kohler 350kW, One (1) Spectrum 600kW, One (1) John Deere 290kW, One (1) Generac 20kW, One (1) Caterpillar 1000kW, One (1) Cummings 230kW, and One (1) Caterpillar 200kW generator. - Provide annual load bank testing (June of each contract year) on three (3) generators (listed below) for the Bath VA Medical Center, 76 Veterans Ave, Bath, NY 14810 with a period of performance from 10/01/2020 to 09/30/2021, with the provision of four (4) option years. Equipment List for annual load bank testing: One (1) Spectrum 600kW, One (1) Caterpillar 200kW, and One (1) Cummings 230kW generator. - Inspections, testing, and reporting shall satisfy the requirements of the latest edition of the National Electrical Code (NEC) as well as the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) instruction/recommendations. When a conflict arises between a method called for in NEC and the OEM, the VA will be notified in order to interpret the inspection and testing method. This agreement assumes that the equipment is in operating condition. All work shall be performed by qualified personnel as defined by NFPA 110 Standard for Emergency and Standby Power Systems, 3.3.9 Qualified Person. The NAICS Code is 811310. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the Bath VA Medical Center. |
