Description | Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Pontiac, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot. The City of Pontiac, IL is inviting sealed Bid Proposals from interested and qualified parties for the maintenance of Deerfield Road, Lawrence Way, Franklin Way, Bethany Lane, Madison Street, Mill Alley, Reynolds Street, and Walnut Street. This work includes the following: HMA pavement milling, HMA paving, PCC curb and gutter repair, sidewalk, and surface restoration. This work shall include all labor, supervision, materials, supplies, transportation, equipment, and services necessary and required to perform the improvements as set forth in the Contract Documents. Prospective bidders shall be prequalified by the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT). The successful bidder must comply with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act and all other applicable federal, state, and local laws. A certified check or bank draft payable to the order of the City of Pontiac, Illinois, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid shall be submitted with each Bid. The City of Pontiac reserves the right to accept or reject any, and all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding. After receipt of bids and completion of the review process, the City of Pontiac may award a contract to the low, responsible, responsive bidder. |
