Re - Roof of the Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) Cab and Walkway at the Salina Municipal Airport (SLN)

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement for a re-roof of the Air Traffic Control Tower cab and walkway at the Salina Municipal Airport (SLN) in Salina, KS. Review all attachments pertaining to this solicitation prior to submitting a proposal. Please note the FAR references cited in SAM.gov are not applicable to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as the FAA has its own policies and guidance referenced in the Acquisition Management System (AMS). This SIR/RFP is being posted in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Acquisition Management Policy, Section 3.2.1.3.11 Public Announcements. All interested vendors are advised that the FAA will not pay for any information or any administrative costs incurred that are associated with any response received from industry in response to this SIR. A site visit is scheduled for May 09, 2023 at 10:00a.m.CT. This requirement is for a Re-Roof of the Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) Cab and Walkway at the Salina Municipal Airport (SLN) in Salina, KS. The FAA is exempt from state and local taxes; this exemption, however, does not pass through to the contractor. The contractor therefore will be responsible for all state, local, and other applicable taxes. All contractors must have an active registration in SAM (sam.gov) in order to receive award. This solicitation is a total small business set-aside under NAICS Code: 238160-Roofing Contractors Small Business Size Standard: $19M The estimated Project Magnitude is between $100,000.00 and $200,000.00. Proposals are due no later than June 02, 2023 at 3:00p.m. CT. Any proposal received after 3:00p.. CT on June 02, 2023 will be considered non-responsive and deemed ineligible for award. To be considered for award of this requirement, the offeror must have a current/valid registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database website: www.sam.gov. To be eligible for award, the offeror must submit a proposal that is in accordance with Section L and Section M of this SIR. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
