Description | The work consists of HVAC upgrades and Commissioning. Demolish and replace existing air handlers and existing ceiling grid, existing acoustic ceiling panels, existing furred out conditions around unit ventilators, including gypsum board, and associated framed-out area. Phase I to include the replacement of systems within the A and B wings only. Phase II to include the replacement of systems within E and F Wings only. Replace all R-22 equipment and associated refrigerant piping and condensate drain piping. The exterior conduits are in poor condition throughout. Replace all associated electrical branch conduit, conductors and disconnects. Replace ceiling tiles throughout the campus. Some grid replacement will be needed in the common areas. Replace existing T-Series 2X4 light fixtures. Replace exit signage. An assessment of all large equipment (chiller, Boilers, MAU-1) to be performed as part of this scope. However, their replacement is currently not included. The mechanical mezzanines are platform 'catwalks" centrally located between the classrooms. Mezzanine access ladders are located in the Janitors closets, access is limited - strategic ceiling removal will be required for equipment removal and replacement. The mezzanine equipment is workable on the mezzanine platform. Ductwork connections are accessible on the mezzanine. Duct access panels are installed up and down stream of the units. The corridors are fire barrier envelopes. Space above the corridor ceiling is limited, work in the corridor should be minimized. Ceiling mounted devices: Blue light, Fire Alarm Audio Visuals, Cameras, PA speakers, Proje ctors, WAP's and HVAC ceiling tags are to be re-used. PN - 2022-06 |
