Rights-of-Way and Ponds Landscaping Maintenance Services

To perform the work described in this Contract consisting of comprehensive care and maintenance (mowing, litter removal, plant pruning and removal, tree trimming, street sweeping, mulch, fertilizer and weed control) to the full width of County and/or FDOT Rights-of-Way (R/W) and associated stormwater facilities shown in exihibits within this solicitation to provide an exemplary level of cleanliness, care and aesthetic value to the roadways. Vegetation within the public roadsides and medians as well as the maintenance of designated pond sites owned or operated by Hillsborough County, Transportation Maintenance Division, are included in the appearance value of the roadways. The Contractor shall furnish all personnel, supervision, equipment, materials, labor, tools, transportation, and supplies necessary to complete the work in accordance with the Contract, procedures, and terms of the contract. The roadways will contain specific ponds and R/W that are to be maintained under this performance-based maintenance contract. * A Florida Commercial Pesticide Applicator License is required for all personnel who either apply or supervise applicators of restricted chemicals on County Rights-of-Way The requirements of the Federal Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) and the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) (latest edition), are hereby incorporated by reference. At least one crew member shall be "Intermediate" Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) certified.
