Description

The Spokane Tribe of Indians Forest Development Program is seeking bids from Licensed and Insured Forestry work contractors for seedling planting and associated services. Contractor must be able to plant tree seedlings ranging from 30k-200k per year based off numerous factors. Typical year will range from 30k-60k and wild fire rehabilitation years will range from 60k-200k. Contractor must be able to adapt to the terrain and environmental conditions in order to complete the job over the next three years. In Scope B, The Contractor is retained to cultivate, culture, and harvest commercial tree seedling plugs of Ponderosa Pine and Western Larch. When offered, it may include the process of the bushels of Ponderosa Pine and Western Larch cones over the next three years. Other services that you offer and would like considered should be documented on page 9 Attachment A question #5 or attached on a separate sheet to be submitted with your bid. All Contractors are required to Certificate of Liability Insurance, as well as a business license. Any other services offered may need backed by certifications or licenses i.e. Herbicide applicators license, equipment operators license etc. If it should become necessary for the SPOKANE TRIBE OF INDIANS to request the awarded vendor to render any additional services to either supplement the services requested in this request for bid or to perform additional work as a result of the specific recommendations included in any report issued on this engagement, then such additional work shall be performed only if set forth in an addendum to the contract between the SPOKANE TRIBE OF INDIANS and the firm. Any such additional work agreed to between the SPOKANE TRIBE OF INDIANS and the firm shall be performed at the same rates set forth in the schedule of fees and expenses included in the sealed dollar bid. All bids must be hand-delivered, mailed, or emailed and be received by the Purchasing/Property Department with ONE MASTER copy and THREE COPIES by the closing date and time. Any bid received after the closing date and time or submitted to another department will be considered non-responsive. The bid award will be proposed vendor who is considered responsive, responsible, reliable, qualified, and possesses the ability to provide all the desired services, and whose bid conforms to all requirements. No liability will attach to the Spokane Tribe of Indians for the premature opening of, or the failure to open, any bids not properly addressed and identified.
