Description | The project is located at the City of Jacksonville Beach and consists of improvements at two City lift stations. Lift Station 17 (LS-17) Site (Part A) which is located between Anhinga Court and Colonies Drive, south of Declaration Drive adjacent to the existing stormwater ditch. The scope of work includes rehabilitation of the existing duplex lift station including temporary bypassing operations, equipment and limited structure demolition and site clearing and tree removal, replacement of chain link fencing around lift station and wooden gate at driveway to Anhinga Court, installation of new pumps, 8-inch piping, valves and other ancillary equipment, pump control panel, automatic transfer switch, telemetry and SCADA equipment, generator with integral fuel tank and enclosure, site light, installation of new water service and static water pressure service, removal and replacement of wet well specialty coating system, construction of new concrete slab at LS-17 site and new driveway to Anhinga Court. Lift Station 23 (LS-23) Site (Part B) which is located at the north end of 12th Street North with the wet well and valve vault in the center of the cul-de-sac and the control panel located on the pole on the west side of 12th Street North between address 1276 and 1288. The scope of work includes rehabilitation of the existing duplex lift station including temporary bypassing operations, equipment and limited structure demolition, installation of new pumps, 4-inch piping, valves and other ancillary equipment, pump control panel, telemetry and SCADA equipment, site light, installation of new water service and relocation of existing water meter, hose bibb station, repairs of wet well specialty coating system per manufacturer recommendations as necessary, construction of new concrete foundation for electrical equipment at the end of 12th Street North, and asphalt paving and striping restoration. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, tools, services and incidentals to complete all Work required by these Specifications and as shown on the Drawings. Contractor shall be responsible for properly unloading, storing, installing and maintaining all materials and equipment. The Contractor shall perform the Work complete, in place, and ready for continuous service, and shall include repairs, testing, permits, cleanup, replacements and restoration required as a result of damages caused during this construction. |
